The guidelines recommend that medical professionals avoid using dating apps during work hours.
Since most dating apps rely on geolocation to connect users, using them at work could potentially lead to inappropriate interactions with patients or colleagues.
Existing guidelines from the General Medical Council prevent medical professionals from becoming involved romantically with their patients.
